About Us
Tasmania's trusted provider of nationally recognised safety training since 2009.
Our Story
Southern Cross Safety Training was established in 2009 to address a simple problem: Tasmanian workers and employers needed accessible, high-quality safety training without having to travel to the mainland.
Starting from a single training room in Hobart, we've grown to operate from three dedicated facilities across Tasmania — Hobart, Launceston, and Devonport. Our focus has always been on practical, industry-relevant training delivered by people who have worked in the industries they teach.
Today, we deliver over 400 training sessions per year across five core programs, helping workers get on site safely and employers meet their WHS obligations with confidence.
